The video is structured taking as a basis a series of interviews, rather conversations, on the part of the people who have taken part in the exhibition which is the cornerstone of the project.
o describe here in detail that these conversations looking practically like mologues, after having eliminated the interlocutor at the edition, were completly spontaneous (as spontaneous as it allows to have a camera right in the middle). I never went to a study or house knowing what was going to happen. Questions were not put forward. The only setting which contextualized us was the Encuentos project.
I wanted that those participating in the exhibition would get involved in a different way as I myself and among all to go through the dark edge of those problems that Encuentos pretends to illuminate.

Children are an important part of Encuentos with the amplification of the schools, That has made me bear in mind that the receivers of the video were going to be also largely very young. That is why I have made sure that the video is for all kind of viewers.
On the other side, a theme which concerned me was food and this understood as a cultural mediator. I have approached the theme in a little absurd way with a total will, first of all to make it amusing and secondly so that the contrast demonstrates the importance of eatable goods with regard to the cultural world.

Music is taken into a great consideration. At first . Joanna Rubio took charge of executing a sound track reflecting a little that what we could relate traditionally (with) to inmigration, making a reference to the south. South which appears like black and North like white.
Later on Markos González collaborated in the sound track and provided a darker and more industrial sound. You will be also able to listen to the Jum Jum group next to Beñast Iturrioz's and Mikel Perurena's txalaparta, a fragment of Tanya Tagay's last disc . You will also listen sing to Janine and an Izar's contribution .
